Terms of Use
Last updated: October 8, 2026
1. Agreement
These Terms of Use (“Terms”) are an agreement between you and InnoxApps (“we”, “us”), Noida, India, the maker of Strict Alarm (“the App”). By installing or using the App you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. What the App does
Strict Alarm is an alarm clock that makes you complete a short task — a mission such as solving math problems, scanning a code, or walking a number of steps — before the alarm stops. Snooze limits, a volume lock and an optional wake-up check help you get out of bed on time.
3. Your settings, your responsibility
- You choose and enable every setting in the App, including alarm times, missions, snooze limits, the volume lock and the wake-up check.
- Please review your settings before relying on them. The App does only what you have set it up to do.
- Some features need permissions that you grant in your device's settings. If a permission is not granted, is turned off later, or is restricted by your device, the related feature may not work.
4. Alarms are not guaranteed to ring
Strict Alarm is built to be as reliable as the operating system allows, but it cannot guarantee that an alarm will ring or will ring at the exact time in every situation. An alarm can be prevented or delayed by, among other things: the device being switched off, out of battery or restarting; permissions being denied or revoked; battery optimisation or “app killing” features of the operating system or device manufacturer; volume, silent, Do Not Disturb or Focus settings; operating-system updates or defects; and settings you choose. Do not rely on the App as your only alarm where missing it could cause harm, such as for medication, medical treatment, travel connections or safety-critical activities.
5. Missions are meant to be hard to skip
When an alarm rings, it keeps ringing until you complete the mission you chose, use a snooze you allowed, or use the emergency exit. On iOS, the system alarm always offers a Stop button; if you stop the alarm there without completing the mission, the App makes it ring again several times over about ten minutes. Choose missions you can complete when you wake up (for example, keep the code you scan where you can reach it), and use the emergency exit if you cannot complete a mission.
6. Purchases are per platform
- Purchases made on Android work only on Android, and purchases made on iOS work only on iOS.
- Purchases cannot be transferred between platforms.
7. Subscriptions and free trials
Subscriptions are billed and managed by Google Play or the App Store and follow their billing and refund policies. A subscription renews automatically until you cancel it. If you start a free trial, it becomes a paid subscription when the trial ends unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the trial. You can cancel or manage a subscription at any time in Google Play or in your App Store account. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.
8. One-time purchase (“Lifetime”)
“Lifetime” refers to the commercial lifetime of the product. We reserve the right to modify, limit, revoke or discontinue one-time purchase access after a minimum of four (4) years. Lifetime access includes the features and functionality available with the one-time purchase at the time of purchase. We are not obliged to provide lifetime users with new features, functionality, services or major enhancements added after the date of purchase; new features may be offered only to subscribers, new purchasers, or under separate pricing or access terms, at our discretion.
9. Changes to the App
We may change, suspend or discontinue the App or any feature, including free features, without prior notice or liability, except where the law requires otherwise.
10. No warranty
The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by law.
11. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental or consequential damages, or for any loss arising from the use of or inability to use the App, including missed, late or interrupted alarms.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims arising from your use of the App in breach of these Terms.
13. App Store users
If you downloaded the App from Apple's App Store, these Terms are between you and InnoxApps, not Apple, and Apple's Standard End User License Agreement also applies. Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
14. Your statutory rights
Nothing in these Terms limits any consumer rights or statutory remedies that cannot legally be excluded or restricted under the law that applies to you.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India.
16. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. We will update the date at the top of this page; continuing to use the App after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
