Strict Alarm

Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 8, 2026

Strict Alarm (“the App”) for Android and iOS is made by InnoxApps (“we”, “us”), Noida, India. This policy explains what information the App handles, why, and what choices you have. If you have a question, write to ava@innoxapps.com.

The short version

  • There is no account and no sign-in. We never ask for your name, email or phone number.
  • Your alarms, missions, saved codes and wake-up history stay on your device. They are not uploaded to us.
  • We use Google Firebase to count how the App is used and to receive crash reports. It is configured not to collect your device's advertising identifier.
  • No ads. We do not sell or share your information for advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' apps or websites.
  • Payments are handled entirely by Google Play or the App Store. We never see your card or payment details.

Information stored on your device

To work, the App keeps the following on your device only:

This information is not sent to us. Deleting the App deletes it. If your device's own backup is turned on, Android or iOS may include the App's data in that backup, which is handled by Google or Apple under their terms.

Permissions and what they are used for

PermissionWhy the App asks for it
NotificationsTo show the ringing alarm, the wake-up check, the bedtime reminder if you turn it on, a reminder if you haven’t opened the App for a few days and no alarm is switched on, and (iOS) a reminder two days before a free trial turns into a paid subscription.
Alarms & reminders / exact alarms (Android), Alarms (iOS AlarmKit)To ring at exactly the time you set, even when the device is idle.
Full-screen notifications (Android)To show the alarm screen over the lock screen when the alarm rings.
Display over other apps (Android, optional)To keep the alarm screen on top if you leave it before completing the mission.
CameraOnly for the scan mission: to read the QR code or barcode you choose. The image is processed on your device and is never stored or sent.
Physical activity / Motion & FitnessOnly for the Steps mission: to count your steps while the mission is open. This stays on your device. (The Shake mission reads the motion sensor, which needs no permission; those readings also stay on your device.)
Run after restart (Android)To re-schedule your alarms after the device restarts, the time zone changes or the App is updated.
Battery optimisation settings (Android)We may guide you to these settings so the system does not stop the alarm. The App only opens the settings screen; you decide.

Every permission is optional unless the feature that needs it is in use, and you can withdraw any of them at any time in your device's settings.

Usage analytics and crash reports

We use two Google services, provided by Google LLC:

We use this only to understand which features help, to find and fix problems, and to measure whether upgrades to Pro are working. Google processes this data under the Firebase privacy and security terms and the Google Privacy Policy. Event-level analytics data is deleted automatically after the retention period set in our Google Analytics property (no longer than 14 months); aggregated reports may be kept longer. Reinstalling the App creates a new random identifier.

Purchases

Subscriptions, free trials and one-time purchases are processed by Google Play or the Apple App Store. They share with the App only what it needs to unlock Pro — which product you bought and whether it is active — and the App checks this on your device. Your payment details stay with Google or Apple.

What we do not do

Children

The App is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Security and international processing

All network requests the App makes use encrypted connections (HTTPS). Google's services may process data in countries other than yours, including the United States; where the law requires it, such transfers rely on appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example in the EU, the UK, India or California), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or obtain a copy of your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to complain to your data-protection authority. Because the App has no accounts, the data we receive is not linked to your name or email, so we may not be able to identify it as yours; the data stored on your device is under your control and is removed when you delete the App. To exercise a right or ask a question, write to ava@innoxapps.com. If you write to us, we use your email only to reply and keep the conversation only as long as needed to help you.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page, and for significant changes we will also tell you in the App.
