Mild

Mild

A calm, text-only home screen for Android.

Mild replaces your phone's home screen with a quiet, text-only one: the time, the date and the few apps you choose. Every other app is one swipe away, and the apps you choose can show a short pause before they open, so you open them on purpose.

Common questions

How do I go back to my old home screen?

Open Mild's Settings and tap Home app, or open your phone's Settings → Apps → Default apps → Home app, and choose your previous launcher. Mild never stops you from switching.

An app is missing from the list.

Check Settings → Hidden apps: hidden apps are not shown in the list or in search. Apps from a work profile appear with a “(Work)” tag; if your work profile is paused, turn it on first.

Why does the pause not show when I open an app from a notification?

The pause shows when you open an app from Mild. Mild does not watch your phone in the background, so apps opened from notifications or the recent-apps screen open directly.

Why is my screen time different from Digital Wellbeing?

Mild adds up screen time on your phone from Android's usage data, and it can differ slightly from other apps that count it in their own way.

How do I cancel or manage my subscription?

Subscriptions are managed by Google Play: open Google Play subscriptions. Deleting the App does not cancel a subscription.

I reinstalled the App or changed phones. How do I get Pro back?

Sign in to the same Google account you bought with and open the App; Pro is restored automatically. You can also tap Restore purchases in Settings.
